What Starky OS is
It reads what comes in. It drafts what should go out. You decide what needs your yes.
It isn't a chatbot, a bundle of automations, or a subscription to someone else's product. It's the system I run my own companies on, installed in yours.
Built from layers
Every business gets the layers it needs, and nothing else.
Every business gets its own copy, built from parts already proven in another business. When a part doesn't exist yet, we build it, and it becomes one more part for the next business. Your records and your rules stay yours.
- Dialled in. The login and publishing I built so a customer of my own could check live stock now run a merchant's price page too, so neither was built twice.
- Added. A customer's request once went missing while every check said all was well, because the checks looked at the parts and not the results. So we added a layer that checks the results too, and the next build started with it.
Why it isn't a bot
A bot is a separate product that speaks for your business from its own data.
Starky OS works from your own records and your own rules, puts its work into the tools you already use, and leaves you as the one who decides.
Single automations speed up tasks. An operating system compounds a business.
It works with WhatsApp, two ways
Two way.
Through Meta's official connection it can ask each customer your own questions, and hold every message for your yes. The connection is proven on our own kit first. The questions and the hold are built, and switched off until they're proven too.
Either way, your number, your phones and your customers stay exactly as they are.
You own it.
- You get your records in plain files, on a machine you own or a server in your name. If your build starts on my kit, the move to yours is part of the job.
- It's built on open standard tools anyone can run, so your records outlast any of us.
Two businesses it's built for
A building supplies merchant.
His customers ask for prices on WhatsApp. Each request becomes a quote card priced from what he's actually bought and sold, with his margin shown wherever he knows what he paid. He checks it and sends it himself. Running since the end of July, quoting since August.
A plumbing firm.
A customer's WhatsApp enquiry becomes a booking request in the firm's own job system. It never books a job on its own, because the firm decides. Proven on our own kit first, with our own number and our own job system account.
My own businesses run on it
I built it to run my own companies, and they run on it every day. The refurbishment work, an eBay shop, and the invoices, stock and paperwork behind them.

- Your records sit in their own copy of the system, kept apart from every other business. The AI that helps is Claude, made by Anthropic, and day to day it reads only the words it's working on.

- I set out the running costs in writing before we start, so there are no surprises.
- What if something breaks?
- It checks itself every day, the parts and the results, and the verdict comes to me each morning. If it stops, your WhatsApp and your phones carry on exactly as before.
- What if you're not around?
- It's built to run day to day without me, and it's all written down so it can be looked after.
